The point of the W8-BEN form is to provide evidence that you are not a "US person".

As ever, Samuel, you are a great help. I've spent a good 30 minutes googling how to fill this in. The instructions provided by the IRS are so horribly complicated that they were not help at all. Yours are the only instructions that make sense! Thank you.
