HOW DO I GET INFO ON A TRANSLATION AGENCY?

I have just started a work relationship with an Agency and would like to have some information about it, of course. I think I am giving good use of my right to know whether I am \"in good hands\" or not.



So, the name of the Agency:

Choice Translating&Interpreting, CTI from North Carolina. Also, their pay time for completion of the work is net 45-day terms. Is this usual?



Good or bad info on this Agency will be welcome.

Hi there,



you can join TCR on Yahoogroups. It allows you to place queries on agencies and if the members know anything about it, they will tell you. Some people on PROZ are also members there. Go to yahoogroups.com and search for TCR. Registration is a bit lengthy but might help you with your \"problem\".

As Mats said to you, ask your colleagues.

I can not help you my self as I do not work with Spanish

I would advise you to subscribe to a professional union for translators. If you live in Italy, become member of the Associazione Italiana per Traduttori e Interpreti. You can look at their website.

They also have a mailing list commom to all its members. They will help you out
