After completing my BA in Modern Languages I then went on to become a Spanish and French teacher to children between the ages of 11-18. For family reasons I decided to pursue a home-based career in translation. I was awarded my MA in Translation from the University of Surrey in September 2007 with a distinction. In 2010 I taught a Practical Translation course to undergraduate and MA students at Aston University in Birmingham, England.

During my years as a translator I have I worked on a wide variety of texts from business and financial to environmental, technical and tourism texts from Italian, French and Spanish into English. I use cutting-edge SDL Trados studio 2014 to achieve a translation that is a perfect blend of human input and the best that technology can offer.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, reading, walking, playing tennis, travelling and spending time with my family and my three cats.
