I am Laura Locatelli from Italy, an editorial and technical translator from English, German, Japanese into Italian, and proofreader (Italian).
I am graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature (German/English), student of Japanese (so far JLPT N3 certification), with good French (High School Degree 100/100).
Projects I have worked on:
- Translation and transcreation assignments DE/EN/JP > IT of marketing texts, technical documents, travel guides, websites, patents, press releases, podcasts, short stories, nonfiction, gamebooks, novels;
- Translation of the subtitles JP > IT of TEDx Talks on the platform Amara and of some traditional Japanese short tales;
- Translation tests JP > IT of manga and other "technical" literary texts successfully passed.

Moreover, I have worked in the textile industry for 17 years as a foreign sales manager (translation of contracts/offers/orders/correspondence/technical contents DE/EN/FR > IT).
I am a really quick learner and a determined person with a positive attitude towards new challenges.
