About me
English to Brazilian Portuguese translator and Spanish to Brazilian Portuguese proofreader since 2006, more than 13 years of experience and B.A. in Translation and Interpreting.

For the last 4 years, I have been working mostly with game localisation, taking part in over 80 multilingual projects in the game industry, also coordinating small teams of Brazilian translators.

Other than that, I have been working in other creative areas, such as content for tourism and hotels, but also the localisation of Android and iOS apps, but never going astray from my legal and business roots, participating in some projects every now and then, especially EULAs and NDAs, or HR trainings.

Member of ATA, IAPTI and ABRATES. User of memoQ (2015 R2), SDL Trados 2015, working with all major MS Office document formats, and dedicated to continuing professional development. Strong linguistic abilities and vast knowledge in the respective domains. Daily output of about 2,500 words in the following areas:

o Gaming and videogames
o Tourism and travel, and hotels
o Marketi​ng, advertising and journalism
o Legal (mainly contracts)
o Business, HR and management

Interests and Characteristics
I am interested in RPG, adventure, platform, fighting and other game genres, particularly in third-person; European cinema (and indie films) and American blockbusters; economy, education, politics and society; TV series — fantasy, thriller, comedy and anything involving magic and supernatural; graphic novels and comics; animes and mangas; fantasy books; astrology, tarot, mysticism, esoterism, and different religions; music of all genres; and good food.
