Thank you Jan 31, 2006

I just now got to see the pictures, they're nice, thanks, Eva. I like that idea about meeting again in early spring. Sure, you can share the e-mail address, it's not a secret. It's great that the meeting was such a fun. Thank you one more time.

Next meeting venue suggestion Jan 31, 2006

Hello Eva,

Would a library requires us to be quiet though? I noticed we were quite noisy last time, with all of us excitingly trying to converse with one another. I don't know if you would find my suggestion rather silly, but perhaps a venue like a partyroom at McDonald's or some restaurant like that might be better? The fastfood party rooms are usually favoured by kids' birthday parties, but they could be for us too. Or maybe the party room of some other restaurants for us "gro

different purposes Jan 31, 2006

You are right, Angie, we were so loud, but for the next time Eva is planning to invite somebody from a CAT company to give a presentation, so a library would be the most appropriate place for that. After the "official part" we can continue in an ice-cream parlor or even at water attractions. We also have to know the prices.

Oh okay Feb 1, 2006

Sure I was just entering a thought. It was a lot of fun to be so loud though. That means a lot of people were "voicing". I kind of find the kind of functions where people just mostly sit there wait for a few people to do all the talking kind of boring.

Place for our next meeting Feb 1, 2006

Hi Guys,
I have great news. What do you think about the Halton Multicultural Council as a place to meet next time? The suggestion is not coming from me, but from the Translation & Interpretation Coordinator. She's my boss (to start with) and was very excited to join our meeting, but couldn't make it. She'd love to meet with you guys, especially when it comes to arranging a professional lecture. I guess she can help us with that too. Thoughts.....
