Valle dei Mulini
L’antica Repubblica di Amalfi un tempo era rinomata non solo per essere la più antica repubblica marinara , ma anche per la famosa “ carta d’Amalfi”, prodotta nella Valle dei Mulini.
Il nome di questa Valle deriva dagli antichi insediamenti dei mulini utilizzati per la preparazione delle paste alimentari.
Nel Medioevo alcuni mulini furono sostituiti dalle cartiere, nelle quali si cominciò a produrre una carta pregiata.
Nella valle dei Mulini scorre il torrente Canneto .Il corso d’acqua alimentava i macchinari che riducevano in poltiglia gli stracci di cotone , lino e canapa, di colore bianco , la quale veniva successivamente trasformata in carta, con una tecnica originaria della Cina, e perfezionata proprio dagli Amalfitani.
Oggi è considerata una carta preziosa, usata per occasioni speciali come gli inviti di nozze.
La passeggiata per raggiungere la Valle dei Mulini potrebbe iniziare da Ravello , con la visita del Duomo, Villa Rufolo e Villa Cimbrone ( consulta la sezione COSTIERA AMALFITANA)
Nel corso della passeggiata si attraversa anche il municipio di Scala.
Scala è considerato il paese più antico della Costiera Amalfitana. Qui nacque Gerardo Sasso , fondatore dell’ordine dei Cavalieri di Malta.
Scala è gemellata con Brooklyn ( New York).Ogni anno vi si svolge la manifestazione “ New York incontra Scala”. Nella piazza principale di Scala si può inoltre ammirare una scultura di Silvio Amelio, un monumento dedicato alla memoria delle vittime di quel terribile 11 settembre 2001 a New York.
La Valle dei Mulini è un sentiero pieno di storia , ed un luogo di pace e tranquillità, dove l’anima trova libertà e pace.
Alla fine della passeggiata si può visitare ad Amalfi il Museo della Carta.

Uno dei sentieri più spettacolari della Costiera Amalfitana è il Sentiero degli Dei.
Il Sentiero degli Dei era un’antica mulattiera, con la quale era possibile raggiungere Positano.
Già il nome fa pensare ad un meraviglioso paesaggio mitologico, nel quale il viaggiatore passeggia lungo un sentiero in compagnia degli dei.
Uno spettacolo naturale di incommensurabile bellezza, una vista impareggiabile, che spazia da Praiano, Positano fino all’isola di Capri.
Il Sentiero degli Dei è caratterizzato dalla tipica macchia mediterranea, da grotte e da profonde insenature di origine calcarea.

Windmill valley

Si sottolineranno, di volta in volta, le principali differenze esistenti tra le cinque sequenze, illustrandone il significato nel contesto delle diverse situazioni narrative.
Una breve menzione, inoltre, andrà alla colonna sonora, qualora il suo apporto sia fondamentale alla costruzione e allo sviluppo della scena. La musica, tuttavia, non sarà analizzata con la competenza di un esperto, ma si sottolineranno i momenti in cui questa cresce o diminuisce d’intensità, fino alla totale assenza di accompagnamento musicale.

Occasionally, the main differences between the five sequences will be examined, and their meaning in the context of the different narrative situations will be highlighted.
Furthermore, a brief mention of the soundtrack will be made, as its contribution is fundamental to the construction and development of the scene. However, the music will not be analysed with the competence of an expert; instead, its growing and diminishing intensity, as well as its complete absence will be acknowledged.
The first sequence to be analysed will be Spellbound’s “Gabriel Valley” sequence: as it is the least examined by the critics, more detailed attention will be devoted to it.
The analysis of technical and narrative elements will first be directed toward the mechanism of the creation of suspense through the cinematic medium, and secondly to how different direction choices could produce the same level of suspense.

Ingredienti
- 1 litro di alcool a 90 ° (per liquori) - 12 limoni non trattati ( solo la buccia)
- gr 700 zucchero
- 1 litro d’acqua
Esecuzione
Con un coltello ben affilato togliete la buccia superficiale ai limoni, tralasciando la parte bianca.
Ponete le bucce nell’alcool dentro un vaso coperto, lasciandole in infusione per circa 10 giorni.
Preparate uno sciroppo leggero facendo bollire l’acqua con lo zucchero per 5 minuti, e quando questo si sarà raffreddato, aggiungetelo nel vaso all’infuso.
Lasciate riposare per una settimana e filtrate attraverso un telo molto fine affinché il liquore risulti limpido.
Servite freddo.

Ingredients
- 1 litre of 90° alcohol (made for liqueurs)
- 12 untreated lemons (only the zest)
- 700 grams sugar
- 1 litre of water
Directions
With a sharp knife, slice off the outermost peel of the lemons leaving the white pith behind.
Steep the peels in alcohol inside a covered vase, and let them infuse for about 10 days. Prepare a light syrup by boiling the water with the sugar for 5 minutes, and once cooled, add this to the jar with the infusion.
Let rest for a week and filter through a fine cloth so that the liqueur comes out clear.
Serve cold.

Source text - Italian Tra due quartieri sofisticati di São Paulo, Pinheiros e Jardim Europa, si trova la villa della famiglia Roesler. Si tratta di un rifacimento firmato da Ruy Ohtake, grande nome della architettura brasiliana contemporanea. Ohtake é conosciuto per i suoi progetti audaci, dove utilizza forme organiche e colori decisi e per il suo spirito libero, in parte ereditato dalla madre Tomie Ohtake, importante artista brasiliana. Il progetto é del 2007, l'architetto ha avuto totale libertà, "mi piace molto la sua audacia" commenta Daniel Roesler, proprietario della importante galleria di arte contemporanea Nara Roesler a São Paulo. Gli arredi sono in parte datati '70 con linee essenziali, ereditati dal padre di Daniel, architetto originario di Recife, città nel Nordeste del Brasile, alcuni pezzi sono stati disegnati da lui stesso.
