Translation - English Lockheed Martin representatives were not satisfied with the results of the previous Air Force tender. They stated that their airplane could have performed the tasks required by the Air Force with no lesser efficiency than that of its rival airplane. Therefore, and due to reasons which shall be specified later on, it seems that this time the company shall make all efforts necessary for winning the tender.
The airplane offered by the company is based on the familiar F-16, more subtle in terms of its performance, equipped with more sophisticated systems,
and is accompanied by economically and technologically tempting offers for Israel.
In terms of external appearance it will look somewhat more awkward due to two combined fuel tanks, which shall be installed above its body and significantly increase its range. Company representatives have told us, during our recent visit at the factory in Port Worth, that the airplane's performance, except a sudden roll, shall not be significantly compromised, and it will be able to enter air battles from a no lesser position of strength than any other airplane of this model.
The airplane offered by Lockheed Martin shall be improved in terms of advanced systems and sub-mechanisms compared to airplanes of a similar model,
which are in service today .
