I am not sure how to translate this phrase correctly as it is in this context. I think it may be a typo or something, but would appreciate any comments you might have.

Error in the contex I don't know why the phrase was removed from the sentence after posting this query. The context should be:

Los LEDs se prenden y apagan a frecuencia y manejan corrientes más altas de las que soportan.
