Spanish to English Medical Anthropology Terminology

Hi everyone! I found this jewel in a syllabus for a criminal forensics course. It is literally the study of how cultures handle their cadavers. It appears in a list of subjects covered during the course, the surrounding text reads as follows:

I can’t find any reference to this word that could help me to translate it to English. So if anyone out there knows this one, I sure could use your help.
