First time lucky!

Just another suggestion, and without context, don't know if this is appropriate or not, but this would be a tongue-in-cheek play on the standard phrase 'third time lucky' if appropriate.... i.e. to highlight the fact that it didn't take the usual three attempts! Hope this helps.
