English term

PC

English Tech/Engineering Environment & Ecology fine dust emission
I am translating an information about new regulation concerning fine dust emission. The very title says:
"Fine Dust
- Information on the Designation of Motor Vehicles (PC/Lorry)"
What does PC stand for? It does not appear later in the text.

passenger car

This comes to mind, as the term to contrast with 'lorry'.

In the EU:
"Light commercial vehicles are the third largest category of on-road CO2 emitters after passenger cars (PC) and heavy-duty vehicles (HDV)."

Neither am I (obviously :-)) This is likely to be EU-related, so the Eurlex references seem to be relevant - hopefully. Thank you.
