English term

aqualude

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Geology
Same problem as before, I cannot find any translation for this word.

The parallel orientation of mineralization suggests the overlying clay-rich unit, known as the Ferruginous Breccia, a generally matrix-supported, locally tectonized, clay-rich, polymictic mass potentially acts an **aqualude** confining layer to fluid movement.

Thank you!

Hi Anademahormar, yes I'm sure, actually I've just received the original pdf from the customer and I copied it and posted it just as it is. I do not doubt that the original has a typo or something, thank you!

Rafael, are you sure of the spelling? I´ve heard aquaclude...(acuiclusa) which may fit into the contextbut I am no geologist

aquiludo

De acuerdo al contexto, la capa no permite el pasaje vertical del agua, por lo tanto es un acuiludo y no un acuitardo. Ver diferencia entre ambas expresiones en ambos idiomas.
