No entiendo mucho a lo que se refieren con "adoption" acá, pues eso de "adopción del balance general" o "adopción del informe sobre el ejercicio fiscal" no me cuadra. ¿Podrá ser que acá lo usen en el sentido de "aprobar"? Es decir, que la Asamblea tendría que aprobar esos estados financieros y los informes? Porfa, lean el contexto para ver qué se les ocurre.

Hago la salvedad de que esta empresa es una empresa holandesa, por lo que el inglés de la Escritura de Constitución seguramente es una traducción.

The annual General Meeting of Shareholders shall be held no later than six months after the end of each financial year. The business to be transacted at the annual General Meeting of Shareholders shall include **adoption** of the balance sheet, the profit and loss account and the notes thereon of the past financial year, the allocation of profits and **adoption** of the written report on the past financial year presented to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders by the Management Board.

En otra parte dice:

An acquisition contemplated by Article XX shall not be permitted if more than six months have elapsed after the end of the last financial year without the **adoption** of annual accounts in respect of such financial year.
