Portuguese term

Passar bem, meu caro!

Portuguese to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings Dictionary of Idioms
- Uma pessoa normal? É aquela que anda dentro das “normas”, ou, mais precisamente, alguém que se parece... comigo.

- Ah! definitivamente creio ser impossível te convencer de seus erros e, sobretudo, de sua burrice. Guardas dentro de ti um erro que é uma adorada verdade sua. Na verdade, você não passa de um miserável preconceituoso. Passar bem, meu caro! Permita-me ir embora, tenho medo que sua "normalidade" me contagie.

* Baseado no texto “[Não sou “normal” e nem quero SER...]” da escritora Juli Lima: https://www.recantodasletras.com.br/redondilhas/7473716

passar bem: a formal yet terse farewell, often implicitly suggesting the wish to never see the person again. (Wiktionary)

I don't believe a simple "farewell" will do the trick.

L2: EN-US
Register: idiomatic, formal

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you again, Muriel. I used "goodbye and good riddance". "Goodbye for good" was used as the translation for "adeus para sempre"."
