patient demographic information
Hola amigos,
I'm proofreading an MRI report. At the top of the page it gives the patient's general information such as Edad, Sexo, Registro, Estudio Realizado / Reportado, etc. Then there is "Institución: Particular PG"
I think Institución refers to the patient's medical insurance? Then I think "Particular" should be translated as "Private" (the translator left it as "Particular" which seems incorrect to me). And then we have the PG abbreviation, which I can't figure out. The closest possibility I find in Cosnautas under PG is "población general" ... but I'm not sure if this fits here.
How should this "Particular PG" entry be translated, and what does PG stand for here, specifically? (and please confirm whether "Institución" means insurance provider here, or something different).
¡Mil gracias!

Discussion
The report is from Mexico.
(You're right ... I didn't think to include this information here. I did mention it in the other question you helped me with!)
