When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

: I wouldn't add 'units', as that tends to imply an item of furniture; usually, '(de nombreux) rangements' can just be translated as '(plenty of / ample) storage'

agree - but you can't say storage twice without qualifying it, surely. This was a suggestion for both (see above)

: Un "réduit" is a "small" storage area. I go wityh your first idea if you add "small". I would not use "unit"; it can be part of a room https://www.larousse.fr/dictionnaires/francais/réduit/67371

In that case, how would you translate "nombreux rangements"? This was my suggestion for the second part.

Small built-in cupboards
box-room
The problem here is of course how to differentiate it satisfactorily from 'rangements'.
I suspect 'réduit' might be used to suggest / imply a walk-in cupboard.

I disagree with Nikki's comment that it might bot be an enclosed space; while I think that might be inferred for 'rangement', I think the general sense of 'réduit' as i've seen it used in property ads is of a (relatively) enclosed space that is too small to deserve the title of 'room'
Probably sight of the property layout plans would clear it up immediately, Asker — I'd be inclined to go for something like 'several store-rooms and numerous other storage areas'

: No way of knowing if it is an enclosed space here so "small storage areas" is probably more accurate.

By definition, 'réduit' is going to be an enclosed space, and 'small' is only relative, not apt for a marketing context. 'area' could be any old open space, which might do for 'rangement' but not 'réduit'

: a box room on a lower ground floor, which this obviously is?

There's no reason why a box-room couldn't be in a basement, it's just that basements are less common in the UK!

Thank you, but no, this isn't an answer I posted it as a reference to get the ball rolling and show a few options.
Thank you. Will you be posting one of these as an answer? (I went with "cubbyhole". |

Discussion
In the meantime, "cubbyhole" is not pejorative at all and you would probably find many dictionary entries (as I have just found, such as dictionary.com), which do not classify it in this way. I am aware it is unsuitable for the context, as I have already said quite a few times.
"A small snug place" (no note on pejorative use here)

In the meantime, this term has been flagged to the client as an issue anyway.
Thanks for help.
@Jennifer, agree, not miles apart. My comment was about box-rooms.
Lara
To start with, it suggests something much smaller than a 'réduit' would usually be in a property advert; and it is also quite the wrong sort of register in your context here!
You misread my comment. I wasn't suggesting box-room as an answer for this. Rangements implies built-in cupboards to me and according to this dictionnary definition too P. méton. Meuble, emplacement qui sert à ranger. La prolifération des objets demandait des placards, des rangements, des fichiers
Local de très petites dimensions, retranché d'un plus grand (synon alcôve, niche),
ou simple recoin (synon. cabinet, cagibi).
