In contraddittorio is the Italian principle in which no sentence can be made by a judge in proceedings without the presence of the persons involved who raise objections and defend themselves. It is usually translated as "jointly consulted" or "in the presence of both parties" hence the translation must be something like measures jointly agreed upon.
