This is from a CT scan report of a patient who was involved in an accident and suffered multiple injuries.
TC TORACE ED ADDOME:
Falda pleurica bilaterale.
"Diffusamente addensati i parenchimi polmonari compatibilmente a *polmone da shock* e contusione polmonare traumatica."
Infarcimento dei tessuti adiposi ... etc.
I take it this is the lungs showing signs of shock ... what's the correct/standard way of expressing this?
