vs. a testamento mancomunado = a joint will in a single document signed by two persons, like husband & wife vs. a mutual will where 2 separate Wills are signed by two persons, like husband and wife, in each other's favour and which arguably are irrevocable during their lifetime. An open will is one that the testator executes before witnesses and a notary. Normally wills are executed by one person so in most cases the title or name of the document would not say unilateral. However, some jurisdictions allow mutual or joint wills (testamentos mancomunados) and the name would so specify it. Source: Black´s Law Dictionary, 7th ed.
