Dear colleagues,
The following sentences are examples taken from a trust deed and I would like to know your understanding of the term "trusts" (in the plural!) in contexts like these.
1. any property subject to the *trusts* hereunder may (...)
2. I hereby bequeath all my property in Australia to my daughter upon the following *trusts*:
3. the exercise of all the *trusts" and discretions granted hereunder shall (...)
4. any *discretionary trusts* and powers may be exercised
I've always wondered if "trusts" especially in example # 3 simply means "fiduciary duties".
