This standard has been prepared for use in a contractual relationship in which one party (the subcontractor) undertakes to execute a part of building or civil engineering work (including installations, new buildings, maintenance, repairs and alterations) for which the other party (the main contractor) has undertaken to the main contractor or anothe rcontractor to execute.
