Spanish term

talopersusion

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Health Care
"...obturasor negativo psoas dudoso talopersusion positiva se ingresa para cirugia realizandose apendicectomia..."
This is a resumen clinico on a patient who had an appendectomy. There are lots of typos in the document, so I'm guessing "talopersusion" may have one too, but I've tried all of my tricks! I cannot figure out what it means or should be in either language.
Thank you for your help.

heel percussion

http://www.emedicine.com/emerg/topic41.htm

A positive cough sign (sharp pain in the RLQ elicited by a voluntary cough) may be helpful in making the clinical diagnosis of localized peritonitis. Similarly, RLQ pain in response to percussion of a remote quadrant of the abdomen, or to firm percussion of the patient's heel, suggests peritoneal inflammation. The Markle sign, pain elicited in a certain area of the abdomen when the standing patient drops from standing on toes to the heels with a jarring landing, is stated in DeGowin's Diagnostic Examination to be very sensitive for localizing true peritonitis.

Tinel's sign/Percussion of tibial nerve/Percussion of medial ankle/Tapping of ankle

The most reliable method Tinel's_sign_tarsal_tunnel_syndromeTinel's_sign_tarsal_tunnel_syndromeof assessing tarsal tunnel syndrome is percussion of the nerve. This test is called a Tinel's sign. Two fingers are used to briskly tap the medial ankle just behind the ankle bone (medial malleolus). An electrical shock sensation is called a positive Tinel's sign and indicates the location of the entrapment.

heel tap

Although 'heel percussion' (Dr Sue Levy's suggestion) sounds like it should be the most exact translation, I've also found a number of examples in google that use 'heel tap.'

Other example sentences:

"... lower abdominal muscles, a positive heel tap and a positive rectal shelf examination. ... It was apparent to the ER doctor that she had appendicitis. ..."

" ... appendicitis Pediatric Surgery. ... Motion, heel tap, or bouncing on the heels will elicit pain in the right lower quadrant. "

Free Online Library: The art and science of diagnosing acute appendicitis. ... psoas sign (pain with extension of the right thigh), heel tap or jumping on ...

In your text above, the writer also misspelled 'obturador'

Example sentence:

"He had a negative heel tap, obturator sign, and psoas sign. ... Epiploic appendicitis is another rare disease process that may mimic appendicitis. ...

"Heel Tap: pain transmitted up muscles beneath peritoneal cavity ... If before onset of pain – acute appendicitis; if after – enterocolitis ..."
