Hidden agenda Feb 12, 2014

"A kirschwasser or kirsch is a clear, colorless fruit brandy traditionally made from double distillation of morello cherries, a dark-colored cultivar of the sour cherry". (Wikipedia) So, rather than sheep rustlers, maybe the Kirschners were all brandy makers... or drunks?
IMHO, only someone with a prior agenda not purely linguistic would propagate such specious notions.

The claim is patently ridiculous; there is no such word (or even a similar word) in the entire Serbo-Croat spectrum.
