Description
Six methods to create personal glossaries will be discussed in a little more than one hour. Join us to recognize approaches to glossaries which you did not know before or found too irritating to try. No matter if you use CAT tools or not and regardless of your area of expertise I will do my best to offer solutions suitable in your case.

You will learn how to create glossaries, types of glossaries that are most useful with most recent software and make traditional paper resources more efficient.

During this course you will learn:

★ How to create and maintain glossaries using rarely used functions of popular software (e.g. MS Word)
★ How to create glossaries using tools which are not intended for this purpose (OCR)
★ How to prepare "non-terminological" glossaries and why?
★ How to create glossaries using batch tools intended exactly for this purpose (online ones or those incorporated in CAT tools)
★ How to be more efficient at using regular, oldschool terminology resources
