Vielen Dank für den Artikel.

Ich warne schon lange vor den Auswirkungen des verantwortungslosen Handelns der KI-Anbieter. Warum stellen wir nicht gleich alle sensiblen Daten in die Cloud? Das erspart kriminellen Subjekten viel Arbeit. :( Ich weiß schon, warum ich mich von allem, was mit KI zu turn hat, so weit wie möglich fernhalte.

En ce qui concerne Le Monde, un abonnement n’est pas une mauvaise idée quand on traduit du ou vers le français et le fait de soutenir la presse de qualité compte aussi en cette période d’inquiétude.

Plus prosaïquement, ça entre, du moins en France, dans le cadre des frais professionnels remboursés.

Sinon, j’espère avoir attiré l’attention de celles et ceux qui ne connaîtraient pas Olivier Mannoni et son travail ; ils pourront toujours trouver ailleurs sur le web des infos sur ce qu’il fait.

You didn't get his hobbies, his bank account, his credit card credentials, his turnover, his profits, the names of his girl friends or childers, the names of his pets....
"Privacy" is not a synonym with being completely hidden

That might be because he is aware of the fact that it might be more difficult to do business with your eyes covered like a suspect in a criminal case.

又偷换概念，人家又没有说“部”要改译。

现在中国民族大学就是译为 Minzu University of China，MUC，有什么不可以？

你一个外国人，看见英语里写汉语拼音就觉得不合适，但是人家英语里本来就有大量外来语，多一个 guojia anquan，外国人根本不会觉得不合适。英国人会觉得 cafe 不合适吗？连你整天讨论的 dragon 都是从法语进入英语的。

人家创造 dama 这个词，是专指这群妇女，而不是指全体中国中年妇女。

这群人是不是傻瓜，是另外一回事。难道中国没有人认为这群疯疯癫癫的中年妇女是傻瓜？

另一方面，既然你知道贬义词不好，那你为什么坚持译龙为 dragon？ dragon 不是贬义词？我就是因为 dragon 是贬义词，而中国人总说“望子成龙”，所以我才呼吁改译龙的。

你反对了二十年，你现在自己一句话把自己二十年的努力都否定掉了。

One useful consideration when exploring these alternatives is that their privacy protections vary depending on how they are configured and used.

For example, Proton Mail’s end-to-end encryption depends on the recipient and sending method, while self-hosted tools such as Nextcloud require ongoing security maintenance.

With AI tools, it is also helpful to distinguish between local processing and processing on a provider’s servers.

For our work as translators, checking where client data is processed, who can access it, and whether the setup meets the client’s confidentiality requirements could help us make the most of these options.

官方发现2024年一窝蜂似地（或打了鸡血似地）“译龙为 loong”不妥，于是就摒弃了那种译法，仍然坚持“译龙为 dragon”。官方不一定是自己发现了“译龙为 loong”不妥，但显然是听取了相关专家权威的意见，例如联合编制《中国时政话语翻译基本规范·英文》的专家权威的意见。

《牛津词典》收录了 “Chinese dragon”，肯定也产生了较大影响。

请你再仔细看看，我说的是‘“用汉语拼音下蛋”的一孔之见’。这个“一孔之见”前面是有限定词的。你所谓的“简单音译全部中国文化事物名称”，跟刘跃进教授的主张基本上是一回事，所以你才会发生共鸣。

那你的意思是国家安全部应改名为“guojia anquan bu”？这跟“国家安全不”的拼音有何不同？是不是还得给“bu”加个注释？

Or could it be something more pragmatic? Conversations with abusive or cruel behaviour are useless to train AI further for commercial purposes.
