Let me introduce myself Ilyas Ahmad, a native Urdu and Hindi translator and outsourcer. I have around 12+ years of experience in the Localization Industry. My experience is mostly based in IT-software, i.e. User interface (UI), manual and help content. Although, I worked in other domains as well, such as medical, legal, automobile, marketing, etc. I have translated around 3-4 lakh of words in the SAP Hindi Localization project, which is one of the most challenging projects in Hindi Localization. I have been involved in the translation of  many Google Products, like YouTube, Search, Maps, Android, Chromecast, etc. since 2012 for Urdu language. In 2016-2017, I worked as a Language Lead in Uber Localization Project in Urdu. Some of the major projects I have been involved in, are Microsoft, Blackberry, Google, Samsung, SAP, Facebook, Xiaomi, Uber, Apple, etc.

I have a good hands on experience in CAT Tools such as: Trados Studio 2017, Trados Studio 2014, Smartling, MemSource, GTT, Smartcat, Idiom, Loc Studio, MemoQ, Passolo, Wordfast, OmegaT, Translation Workspace, etc.
