QW-409.8 – GTAW weld was made using a 175 -200 amps and 10 - 14 volts and the GMAW weld was made using 170-200 amps and 24-28 volts

QW-409.8 A change in the range of amperage. or except for SMAW and GTAW welding, a change in the range of voltage. A change in the range of electrode wire feed speed may be used as an alternative to amperage.

Asker: Спасибо. А как "E" соотносится с напряжением? Выше в документе приведена таблица, в которой, среди прочего, для каждого прохода указано Voltage (range) и Amps (range), и там стоят конкретные значения. Если I & E - это ток и напряжение, то в чем может быть их отличие т указанных в таблице?

Asker: Еще для полноты картины: в той же таблице есть столбец Energy or Power (range), где тоже указано NA.
