Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Transport / Transportation / Shipping / Railway workshop
Dutch term or phrase: Afbouwen
Workshop personnel rules. At the end of a train positioning procedure, once it has been confirmed that the train is in position and is not moving, "de machinist/bestuurder stopt de trein, en bouwt deze zo nodig af."

(NB I am actually translatin into Italian but I need to understand the meaning and I guess that it might be quicker and easier to get it in NL>EN than in NL>IT)
